We run comprehensive fertility, microchipping, Pregnancy confirmation, Semen Analysis also cytology ovulation courses from Southampton, various locations throughout the UK or remotely. We are accredited by CPD and are recognised internationally by all countries including the USA. Our courses go at a pace that suits your learning needs, we aim to make canine fertility accessible for anyone and provide ongoing support for life. All courses come with a printed book posted to you. We won’t just leave you. This is just the beginning of your learning journey.

Fertility Courses
Remote Fertility Course £550.00
Our fertility course covers; anatomy of the male dog, fertile male, female anatomy, semen collection and analysis, sperm counting, female reproduction, cytology ovulation testing, chilling semen and shipping and ultrasound. Visual displays to help during the call. All learning resources will be provided in advance of your course and the course delivered by video call. Great if you have an understanding already or feel your confident with dogs

Face 2 Face Fertility £650.00
Our Face 2 Face Fertility course is held various locations throughout England and covers; anatomy of the male dog, fertile male, female anatomy, semen collection and analysis, sperm counting, female reproduction, cytology ovulation testing, chilling semen and shipping and ultrasound. All learning resources will be provided in a booklet and slides. During this course there will be up to four students but can be one to one for an extra cost. Real live animals to practice on. (Microchipping can be added to the end of this course – please enquire so we can arrange puppies to be available on the day). Full Days course. During the course you will have the chance to try out the latest state of the art equipment. We have training facilities all over the country. So please message for availability in your area. No need to travel miles, we maybe able to come to you too

Microchipping
Microchipping £180.00 Remote or £250 in person
Our microchipping courses run remotely or in person and offer full training with assessment and accredited certification. The award will be delivered and assessed by CoastK9 Fertility Courses. No experience is needed and covers the identification microchipping of small domestic animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets. The course is in line with the current legislation of microchipping dogs act 2015.
Perfect for Breeders who want to chip their own puppies and save expensive vet fees. Microchipping puppies in their own homes is less stressful and easier than driving a litter to the vets.
Idea for those wanting to add another service to their existing dog business, such as dog grooming, dog walking or canine fertility clinics.
Course also includes; a course booklet, 20 x microchips, 1 x animal microchip scanner and Coast K9 branded carry bag, pen and keyring.

Ultrasound Pregnancy Detection
Pregnancy Ultrasound £250.00 - £350.00
Ultrasound Pregnancy Detection, this can be delivered via Zoom or in person, is certified and fully accredited independently by CPD. The course includes a booklet along with videos and slides which show how to detect foetuses; find the bladder, intestines, along with other organs, how to safely use your machine, how to measure and find an estimate due date, detect possible infections of the uterus and when to refer to a vet. You’ll need to have a dog to scan on the call or for the in person course.

We don’t believe in sending you out scanning unprepared. Our courses run through everything you’ll need for a successful scanning business. We believe in being a one stop shop, teaching you how to use your machine, measure and detect abnormalities right from the start.
Cytology
Cytology £175.00 - £250.00
We run remote Cytology courses via Zoom or in person for a more hands on comprehensive lesson at one of our training centres. The course is certified and fully accredited independently by CPD and will help you with the following; taking successful swabs, pinpointing ovulation, recognising a split or false season, picking up the start of infections and much more. With this course you will gain the ability to understand what you are looking for and receive ongoing support if needed. As with all courses practice is the key.
